One of the fruits of the Spirit expected to be seen in the Spirit filled saint is self control. This is the fruit referred to as ‘temperance’ in Galatians 5:22-23 Self control is a fruit of the Spirit manifested in us as our ability to manage our emotion when it is pressured. There are some important areas of our emotion that we must demonstrate this fruit of the Spirit of self control. Some of these emotional areas are: Anger The first place where you demonstrate your self control is in how you handle your anger. A believer who gets loose to anger easily lacks self control in that area. Speech Another critical place where you must demonstrate self control is how you talk. When you are loose with words, it means you lack self control. Sight seeing It is important for you to know that you cannot give yourself to watching every entertainment or else, you would break down your Spirit. Herein is yourself control justified.
